3:05 pm - Bike meet car, car meet bike.
Well what is there to say.
As most of you know i got hit by a car today.
I was at work delivering mail.
It was gonna be an easy day are home.
For i had already sorted the mail and dlivered one and a half bundles of a total of nine.
It was only 9.30am. and i needed to cross a small dirt road to drop off one letter into number 4. i was at number 5 which is oppisit of 4.
Pity for me there is a bush(blind spot) and as i crossed the road a car came down the road and high me.
I went flying across the hood and hit the windscreen. Smashing it with either my hand or head.
Anyway i broke my leg. I think it was because my leg for sandwished between the bike and the car.

So now im sitting here in my living, with my leg up in a case.
Lucky ive spoken to my boss and i still have a job when i get well.
Well there isnt really must else to say. Plus my hand when i badly bumped is hurting so i'll stop typing.
I'll update you guys later.

1:03 am - The Nems are in town.
Last night David and i went to South Yarra.
Why, you might ask.
Because one of the internet people we always chat to was down for the week. So we all decided to meet up for dinner.

Both David and i have never done this kind of thing before and no matter how much you know about the people your meeting there is always the fear that they are totally different etc.
Anyway we knew them better than most people know there internet friends. How so? Well because instead of using like msn or mirc to talk to them we use team speak which is a voice chatting program. We had been chatting to these two guys like 5 nights a week for about 3 months.
It was really hard putting there voices to faces.
All we knew about them was there jobs, ages and that Twin was a short asian guy and Ash had a family and also had a UK accent.

Anyway the plan was to catch the train to Boxhill and get a lift with Twin to South Yarra.
Not knowing what Twin looked like David decided the best way to find him was to say "Twin" softly everytime we walked past a asian just in case. This totally broke me. We finally sat down at a table infront of a fast food place called Sputnik or something and message him telling him where we were. Anyway he found us and yes, he was short. Very short like 5'6" and had a shaved hair too o.0

Anyway we chatting on the way to South Yarra in his car. By now i was feeling kinda weird with this whole sitting in a strangers car and talking to him on the way to another stranger. Me being all anti social and all.

Anyway we got to the hotel that Ash was staying at in no time.
(Just to fill you in Ash and Twin have known each other for like 3 years ever since Twin met Ash up in Queensland.)

So Twin calls Ash mobile and says we are here, come down.
After about 2-3 minutes of standing out the front of the hotel out comes this short guy with a huge smile on his face.
If i call Twin very short Ash is like super short. Like 5'4"-5'5".
Anyway we decided to go walk to the pub. It was kind strange feeling trying to think of things to say on the walk there. But it wasnt that hard really. Well we all had stories of our times playing nwn together.
Anyway we had dinner at the pub and all spoke about our jobs etc, drank some alcohol (not much) and then after about 50 minutes we all headed back to Ash's hotel room.
By now we were all pretty much like old chums that had known each other for years.
So when we got back david and i took a look at his beast of a laptop while Ash made some of his infamous tea and Twin checked what was on TV.
We all sat down and watched the show Brainiac or whatever. Man, what a silly show. Had a nice laugh over it. Then we watched Rove while chatting.
Alas at this stage it was time to go.
I barely know where South Yarra is so when Twin offered to give us a life to the station we jumped at it.
We said goodbye to Ash and got into Twins car.
He took us to the station we said goodbye to Twin and went in.

Man ive turned into such a hillbilly guy.
I had no idea what trainline South Yarra was on. but i quickly found out just in time to see a train pull in. So David and i booked it to the train and jumped on.
Anyway the long and the short of things we got home after awhile of train swapping, waiting and sitting.

If you were to say to be "would you do it again?" my answer would be "With Ash and Twin, yes".

Two great guys, im sure in the future we will all meet up again.

11:51 pm - Ikki Touseen
I found an amusing anime today.
Its called Ikki Touseen. Its kinda Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School meets Najica with a tad of Excel Saga with the dvd extras.

Its not too bad but i do like the outtakes they have the of dvd's.
They ahve this whole thing about what the narrator said and what he wanted to say. i'll tell you the first 4 ep ones.

Narrator said:
Hakufu Sonsaku succeeded his father Bundai Sonken. Sonsaku was the hero in the era of the three kingdoms. he had passion and purity and was known as the Sho-Haou of Koutou.

Narrator wanted to say:
Hakufu Sonsaku succeeded his father Bundai Sonken, but who cares about this ancient Chinese history when youve got a bathtub with a naked girl with some major booby bombs. Now thats entrainment!

Narrator said:
Koukin Shuyu he is Sonsaku's childhood friend and most trusted subordinate. When Hakufu's father Bundai Sonken went to war he left Sonsaku in the care of Shui, Shuyu's father. Since then Sonsaku and Shuyu grew up like siblings. The two were tied firmly by bonds that wree more than lord and vassal.

Narrator wanted to say:
Koukin Shuyu he is Sonsaku's childhood friend and most trusted subordinate. But when you think about it maybe his reputation is just a little over blown. I mean look at him, hes a bloody mess. He got pounded into the pavement. Whos gonna clean that up? Not me!

Narrator said:
Chuei Totaku. His cruelty and viciousness brought about the collapse of the Gokan Kingdom. He eventually controlled all the regions of China and was refereed to as the worst devil in the history of the Three Kingdoms.

Narrator wanted to say:
Chuei Totaku. His cruelty and viciousness brought about the collapse of the Gokan Kingdom but how bad can he be? look at him, hes a nancyboy hanging around in a greenhouse.

Narrator said:
They are scum.
Shigi Taishiji, a famous commander known for his heroism. Who challenged Sonsaku to a duel when his leader, Ryuyo was at odds with Sonsaku. Sonsaku admired Taishiji's personality and skill and gave him an important position within his own kingdom.

Narrator wanted to say:
They are poop.
Shigi Taishiji, a famous commander known for his heroism... what a wuss. Two little fleash wounds, front and back and he falls over. You wimp!

12:56 pm - Final Fantasy Advent Children
Finally the wait is over.
I have now seen Advent Children.
I finished watching it like 3 minutes ago.
It is a pretty long movie compared to most other CG movies. The total running time was over 1 hour and 40 minutes but that includes the credits.

Now for what i thought of the movie.
Keep in mind that i have a copy of the movie which is in japenese with no subtitles so i tried to follow the story as well as i could.
I mean i could only pick up maybe 20 words throughtout the whole movie. EG: goodbye, thank you, brother, cloud, tifa etc.
There were a number of good parts in this movie. The ones i liked the best were the ones with either the Turks (comedy) or the fights when Vincent, Barret etc were apart of it.

Man Barret's gun ownz all the bees. And as for Vicent, well he is as cool as ever. Its just a pity he didnt turn into like a vampire or zombie or something.

Judging from what i worked out this movie is totally aimed at FF7 players. Im not sure if people who have never played the game would understand. Well it seems they where explaining the characters etc abit but im not sure.
Still the CG was great. Like any good CG movie at times you forget that its CG and start looking at the characters as acters.
I dont think this should have been a movie.
It would have been much better dont as an X number of parts TV series. That way it wouldnt feel so rushed at parts. plus it would mean it would go for longer. And i want more!!!!!

5:03 pm - Weird Birthday
I would have to say this is the first time ive spent most of my birthday away from my family.
In past years it would be a day which as a family we did something or just stayed home but this year my parents had to work on my birthday.
That and my brother has slept for most of it. (its 5pm now and he is still asleep).

I dont mind. i mean i went to the market and almost bought myself two t-shirts.
They had Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto shirts.
Only problem is that they where large and i wouldnt risk buying large incase they dont fit. BHut they were very cool.
The guy who was selling them said they only came in that one size ATM because they were meant for the Japanese market and you rarely see a large Japanese person unless there like a Sumo and in any case i dont think many Sumos wear FMA or Naruto t-shirts.
So im gonna go back in like a month and see if they have started making larger ones.
I did buy one thing. I got myself GTO box set.
I loved the live action one so much and one of my friends collect the manga so i figured i would try the anime.\

Anyway so ive spent most of my birthday at the market or at Jess' house where David, Liam and I were trying to finish Leisure Suit Larry -Magna Cum Laude.
We sat up till 4am this morning playing and we picked up where we left off today. Still havent finished it but i think we are getting close.
So it was different spending like the whole day without my family but i got to spend a hour hours woith friends so that was good.

Anyway i should go get ready to go out. my parents are taking me out as soon as they get home. To some pancake place. Dont ask.

11:31 pm - Saturday
For those of you who have forgotten or those of you who i only roughly meantioned it too.
Im having a BBQ on saturday afternoon.
Ive been telling other people to get there about 1-2pm.
Im pretty sure the weather is gonna be horrid so its gonna be a indoor BBQ. Or what normal people would simply cool lunch.
I did send an sms around awhile back and i asked people to let me know if they could come by the 3rd but so far ive only for a rough number.
That might mainly have to do with the me not sending the sms to everybody because in my wisdom i thought i would tell some people face to face. Which i did in some cases but so briefly that im sure they will have all forgotten.
So hear i am letting everyone know. Im sure there is some of you out there that hadnt heard about this and are kinda freaking out now not knowing if they can make it.
Its ok if you cant, its not gonna be for long. Just for an hour or so.
Being my house and all there isnt much to do so thats why im saying an hour.
But then you read this please post a reply to it saying if you can make it or not.
thanks...

4:20 am - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Im friggin more pissed now that i was 10 minutes ago!!! And 10 minutes ago i was still pretty pissed.

Ok it all started on the way home from Jess' tonight at like 1.50am.
The first thing that has set me up to flip out is the fact the i almost crashed into a police car.
This police car was in the left lane turning left and i was in the right turning right at the Upwey traffic lights. As i took off the police car decided that it didnt want to go left anymore and pulled out infront of me. Its ok i didnt hit it. *phew*.
Anyway continuing home i was half way through Tecoma when my car started chugging. Half way up the hill to Belgrave it died. It wouldnt start. It was getting power but it wasnt starting. Then a flooded it. FUCK!! I then waited 4 minutes and tried again, this time it started. Now all i wanted to do was get home asap.
I was justing going through Belgraves round-a-bout when it started happening again. by the time i got through the round-a-bout it had died again. This was a bad place to leave a car. this time i got out and took a look under my car. i could see something dripping. After waiting 3 minutes i started it again. I got just around the corner when it died again. Lucky this part of the road has a place you can pull over. I opened up the hood and i could see some kind of water all splashed over the engine. I didnt even bother trying to start it again. this was when i figured it was something really bad. seeing as i only lived like 1.2k down the road i decided to walk it. Got home and then thought what the hell was i gonna do.
After about 10-20 minutes of a debate in my head i decided to pack my backpack with tools and a torch, some ducktape, whatever i thought might help. I then hopped onto my bike i rode there.
Got to the car, opened the hood, used the torch and sure enough, the engine seemed to be covered in coolant. You know that stuff. The green stuff. Yet i couldnt see where it came from.
Anyway i tried starting the car and it started right away. So i hopped on my bike and rode home, locked it up and walked back to the car.
Ran into some local Belgrave drunk bums on the way, lucky me --_--
Got to the car, started it, drove home, parked it, opened the hood and... nothing. No more leaking.
Came inside and hopped on my computer to write a LJ post.
Then halfway through it my broswer crashed and i lost it. So i hopped on my laptop and started writing this.
So anyway it took me just over two hours to get from Jess' house in Upwey to my house in Belgrave. it would have been quicker just to walk --_--.
Now i have a bad feeling that my car is gonna cost mega bucks to fix.
And on another note, i was tired when i left Jess' and now im not. Fuck this, i wanted to have a early night and everything.

Rant out

All must hail my new user pic.
It's so.....well ets just say it's AWESOME!!!
For you people who don't know who it is (most of you) It's Jiraiya aka Perverted Hermit from Naruto.
I wont go to much on about him but i'll just say a few things.
He...
Is one of the Three Legendary Sennin;
Is the Author of a R rated book called Come Come Paradise;
Can summon a gaint frog of doom;
Likes to visit whorehouses, and pretty much a huge pervert. Thus his name "Perverted Hermit".
There was a better icon of him but alas it was 54k so i couldn't use it but this ones fine.

12:10 pm - Feeling the flames while paralysed
Well here i am.
Im bored and i have another ....... hour before i have to go to work. So what do i do with my time?
Write another stupid and some what insignificant post full of puns, bad grammer, vegetables and metaphors.
Todays topic shall be on how video games have stolen my life.
Im sure that you are all gribbed by the subject already.

I have only just started to notice this but weeks lacking in significant events seem to be in fashion when it comes to me.
I mean i can give you an over view of my last week.
I shall start of last sunday.
Sunday: Worked and did mother's day thingo.
Monday: Went to knox city for about 2 hours.
Tuesday: Worked
Wednesday: ....
Thursday: Worked
Friday .... Worked and then to Jess' for a hour hours.
Saturday: Worked

Im sure it doesnt look to bad but on the days that say worked. that means i worked for like 5 hours, max. Sure its just an overview but its more indepth than you think. Just add "played neverwinter nights for 4-5 hours" on every day and you have my life.
How sad am i!!
I would try to take a week off from computers but i dont think that is gonna work. for two reasons.
A)I would miss talking to all my cyber wenches...
B) I dont think David would let me.

oh and C) I think i would go insane. Just like a drug adict i need my daily fix of monitor radiation.
A stream of particles or electromagnetic waves emitted by the atoms and molecules of a radioactive substance as a result of nuclear decay.
Oh yeah, bake me in it baby!

Passes out.

12:51 am
Well here i am.
Updating my LJ once again.
I found out that people still read my LJ so i figured i should, so thats why im here.

Now where to start.
Im comming to the end of my Refereeing-ness. I feel its time to move on. I have now been doing it for almost 5 years and frankly im sick of it.
Ive had enough from players, coachs and parents bitching.
So ive decided to give it up. Referees are volunteers and the money we get paid is almost laughable. like footy umps get like $30-$40 an hour while us basketball refs get like $13 an hour.
I know ive been saying that im gonna give up reffing but this is final.
Im starting to night even feel appreciated by my senior referees. Like i had been working hard for 5 years to become a supervisor and then after 4 weeks they take it away from me because i turned up late once, and i was only late because they forgot to tell me they were holding games on a long weekend. in the 10 years that i have been around basketball there has never been games on a long weekend. SO they took my supervisors job off me and ive been told that i'll never supervise again.
So i believe its time to say "Fuck You" to knox basketball. the session finishes in 2 weeks to thats when i plan to make a phone call to them.

In other news, Im almost debt free. I only owe like another $500. but of course im still looking at buying a motorbike.
Oh yeah and i got a letter from the post office. i just have to fill out some more paper work. I beleive its getting close to the time that the contracts are comming up.
Oh that plus QANTAS rang the other day. I believe they will be working me to go to another interview in about a month or so.
So thats my backup job plan.

Whats some other crap i can write.
Oh i hired some movies last sunday. I now remember why i stopped. Most video shop dvd's arent worth your time trying to watch.
Like 70% of them are badly scuffed which makes then hard to watch because they keep freezing and makes then usless to copy. So far out of the dvd's ive watched 2/3 of them have bad scuffs. They almost look like someones put them read side down on the carpet and rubbed them for a few minutes.

oh well i guess thats all i have to say atm.
i'll update the next time i remember too =P

4:08 am - To the borders of insanity and beyond
Finally after 20 and a half years my brain has finally become goop. It has already leaked out of my left ear and has left a nasty stain on the carpet. im sure my parents wont be happy about that.
i think the goopiness of my brain is due to the amount of anime i have watched in the last 7 weeks. let me try to calculate how much (this is approx) 202 episodes or 74 hours worth. now im sure you can understand why my brain is moosh. whats scary is i want to watch more. ive become a friggin anime addict. i dont want to calculate how much money ive spent on anime in the last 7 week. im sure i would faint. but it would be passed the $350 mark.

One of the side affects of watching this much anime is that ive also become addicted to the catch theme songs of most of the anime i own.
Liam you know, you heard how i had the Boycow Bebop movie theme (ask DNA) on cd in my car. well thats not all. on that same cd i have the theme to hellsing, najica: blitz tactics, trigun, full metal alchemist (first theme), like 4 other cowboy bebop songs and the closing theme to happy lesson and closing theme to boogiepop phantom.
you know how when your addicted to a drug its best to try to stop. well im still yet to decide if anime is a drug or not. i mean half my brain (before it turned to jello) was saying to me "oi bitch, this cant be good for you. you should stop" but the other half of my brain was saying "but dude, this stuff rocks. you should get some more, come on.... you havent had your daily fit yet."
well judging by the state of my brain now im sure you know which part i listened too.
Maybe i need to start a new addiction to counteract this one. like maybe i can start taking LSD, im sure that could fix my anime problem.

So what do you guys think? what drug should i take up, crack maybe?
